Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Python Developer with 3–6 years of experience. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems, building clean APIs, and integrating authentication and streaming features. This is an on-site role based in Johar Town, Lahore, where the developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing applications.

Core Skills

1. Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in FastAPI
2. Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database design
3. Experience with Supabase authentication and database management
4. Familiarity with Server-Sent Events (SSE) and streaming APIs
5. Deployment and scaling experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Requirements

1. 3–6 years of experience in backend development with Python
2. Proven track record of building consumer-facing APIs with strong emphasis on performance and reliability
3. Experience working with authentication systems, subscription/payment flows, and real-time features
4. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with product and frontend teams
