ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Systems Engineer, you will handle designing and participate in delivering and maintain Azure Cloud infrastructure for Tier One's customers and/or provide related advisory services to channel. 

YOUR DAILY TASKS

1. Participate in the scope and design of Azure Cloud solutions.
2. Participate in the deployment, configuration, and management of Azure Cloud solutions.
3. Manage existing customers' Azure Cloud infrastructure and services.
4. Creation and maintenance of related service documentation and guides.
5. Mentor and support less experienced Cloud Admins/Resources 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

What You'll Bring (About You & Technical Experience)

1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
2. 5+ years of experience working in cloud-based environments.
3. At least 3 years of commercial experience with Microsoft Azure.
4. Solid understanding of Azure Cloud services and architecture.
5. Hands-on experience in deploying and managing Azure services (VMs, Storage, Backup, Virtual Networks).
6. Broad knowledge of cloud computing, programming, database design, enterprise software, operating systems, and hardware.
7. Strong grasp of system administration concepts including virtualization, containers, storage, encryption, security, network connectivity, firewalls, and load balancing.
8. Extensive experience with Windows Servers and Desktop OS.
9. Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
10. Familiarity with one or more project management methodologies.
11. Experience with Azure native services (Policy, Cost Management, Lighthouse, Monitor/Log Analytics, Security Center).
12. Certifications not required but considered an advantage
